Summary: Great for kittens.
Comment: I forgot the toy needed a battery so for the first few days my cats played with it without the bird moving around in circles, but mostly they ignored it. When I got the battery, and the bird started moving, my two older cats weren't impressed, but my youngest (about 1 1/2 years) went crazy. It's pretty funny watching her with the toy; she can get fairly worked up attempting to take out the bird. It's also entertaining when she's finished playing; she has a tendency to walk away from it too slowly, which means she is hit in the backside by the bird. Naturally, this starts the fight with the bird all over again. I'm pretty sure the other cats will play with it as well, but even if it's just the kitten, it's worth the money.

Comment: I ordered the Flying Bird Cat Toy. The color combination they sent me was unbelievably hideous: Purple base and pale pink and pistachio green bird! Their delayed response to my dissatisfaction was I would have to pay shipping back to them for credit. Thus I would have two shipping charges to return this item. Why would they produce an item that is so ugly, especially when their ad shows a lovely color combination? Do not order from these sellers without clarifying exactly what you will receive.

Summary: Great toy for hyper kitties!
Comment: If your cat wakes you up in the morning not just to eat but to play, this toy will help! I have four cats and they all love it. The only negative factor is that they wear the battery out fast! The carpeting at the base can also be used as a scratching mat. This toy doesn't weigh that much but it doesn't topple easy.

Comment: My cat loves this. It is made so that even when the cat is interacting with it, it won't hurt her by ripping the bird away from her to continue along its path. A very gentle motion but enough to entice her to pay attention and interact.
